Elissavet Touli is student at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece (with a specialization in Communication and Advertising). Her Thesis discusses the Communication Strategies in Tourism in focus on building the profile of the Chinese Tourist and how Greece can attract more Chinese Tourists.
In 2016, she was chosen among many applicants, as the ambassador of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for the full Scholarship of Shanghai International Studies University, in China, for the project «The Belt and Road Program». During her stay in Shanghai, she improved her Chinese language skills and gained more knowledge about the Chinese culture.
She has participated in several Tourism conferences, such as the International Meeting on Culture and Tourism - Yperia 2016, Amorgos in 2016, and the 2nd Tourism Conference: High Value Tourism in Thessaloniki in 2017. In February 2017, she successfully completed the “Chinese Tourist Welcome” training programme, conducted by tourism generis and she has been awarded with the “Chinese Tourist Welcome Qualify Host” certification. In March 2017, she was a member of the Press Team during the three-day organization of the '2nd Greek-German Youth Forum'.
Furthermore, she attends intensive Graphic & Web Design courses in AKTO College of Thessaloniki, acquiring all the necessary knowledge of Semiotics and Visual Communication, so as to create successful and stylish visual representations of ideas and messages.
She speaks Greek, English, German and Chinese
