Magdalini Vasileiou is an economist - Holds a PhD in Tourism Development and Special Interest Tourism, an MSc in “Tourism Planning, Management and Policy” and a BSc in Business Administration.
Member of ETEM of UAegean – she has participated in European programmes (EQUAL, INTERREG, ISTOS, ARCHIMED, SAGITTARIUS etc.), researches, studies and guides regarding Tourism Development, in collaboration with various private and public institutions (the Greek National Center for Social Studies - EKKE, the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises- SETE, WWF Hellas and University of Piraeus). She has participated in international and Greek conferences.
Since 1999 she has worked as a bank and hotel employee, as a lecturer in Private Institutes for Vocational Training and Colleges, as a scientific advisor in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and as an external associate of the Research Unit of University of Aegean.
