    Yiannis Ginis has more than 35 years experience in the hospitality industry, 28 of which as General Manager at large scale hotel businesses. Yiannis has worked in Grecotel hotel chain (1984-1986), Corcyra Beach (1989-1993) and he   was among the ones who developed the hotel chain LAUDA AIR-ITAS (1993-1996). From 1993 to 2015 he was General Manager at Kontokali Bay Resort & Spa. He specializes in Hotel/Hospitality Economics and in Sales-Contracts with Tour Operators. His projects have produced significant results in profit margins and return on investment.

    With more than 20 years of hospitality management experience throughout Greece and abroad, 10 of which on top management level in big hotels of various categories, he is currently managing the 5* Kontokali Bay Resort & Spa in Corfu. A Glion Hotel School (greek branch) graduate, and with acquired specializations on Food & Beverage Management and Sales & Marketing Management by AH&LA, in addition to Hotel Operations, he has lately been actively involved in development, training and pre-opening in general of brand new high-end establishments and rebranding of others.

    Chris graduated from the Rhodes ASTER hotel school in 1963 and immediately started pursuing a career in the tourism sector, taking a job at the Hilton Athens personnel office. During that period, he had the opportunity to gain valuable experience across various departments of the hotel. In 1971, he was selected by Hilton's management to attend the F&B management training program at the Hilton International Career Management  Institute in Montreal.
